Linux

The OS made by people for people, not corporations.

I've always loved the idea behind linux. a OS by the people and for the people. A way that we can create and customize our system to do what we need and want it to do, not some shady corpporation who thinks they know better and can hide stuff in the background (looking at you Windows.) Linux is not big tech, not held down by a single scope, a single purpouse, theres flavors for whatever you need: Gaming, retro, projects, lightweight, and so so much more.

Honestly Linux is what go me into this. Really! i got on a path to wanting to have my own space, my own rules, and a place that is me, fully and truely without barriers or nonsense. and to me, FOSS (Free and open source software) is where its at and will always be my go to.

And believe me, the customization on Linux is nothing sort of a breathe of fresh air compared to Windows and Apple. Linux lets you custmoize every single possible thing you could ever want on your desktop, all the way back to the boot menu and all the way in to induvigual apps and more.

Now id be lieing id i said that is easy to do, it will take time, paitence, understanding and chatgpt (or other similar AI) to create what i needed to so i can learn from it and grow everything.

- FOSS Software -

When it comes to software, wether using it for Linux or even Windows, i would definitly say try FOSS software. To be honest, it may not be as polished as CorpoTech companies software, but its open source, anyone can read and make sure the code is safe and usable for anyone and it also has the ability to be contributed to, as well as forked to make a new program. the possibilities of Open Source software is and always will be better than Corpo, even if a bit unpolished.
